In fact, Philippine Fiesta was recently recognized as one of the top three finalists for Best Local Event in the 2025 Memphis Most Community’s Choice Awards — a testament to the event’s growing popularity and impact.
Festivalgoers can expect a lively showcase of Filipino heritage through authentic cuisine, traditional and contemporary performances, cultural exhibits, music, family-friendly activities, and opportunities to connect with Memphis’ vibrant Filipino community. According to FILAMemphis president Roy Alinsub, the festival’s mission extends beyond entertainment. “First-time attendees can expect a vibrant celebration of Filipino culture, full of the color, vibrancy, energy, and hospitality that Filipino people are known for. They will experience live cultural performances, warm community spirit, and delicious Filipino food. We want all guests, Filipino or not, to feel welcome and experience such a rich heritage.”
