If your summer calendar could use a burst of color, culture, and community, make plans for the 3rd Annual Philippine Fiesta in Memphis on Saturday, June 13th.
Presented by FILAMemphis Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting Filipino culture and community engagement in the Mid-South, the festival has quickly become one of the cityโs standout cultural celebrations. In fact, Philippine Fiesta was recently recognized as one of the top three finalists for Best Local Event in the 2025 Memphis Most Communityโs Choice Awards โ a testament to the eventโs growing popularity and impact.
Festivalgoers can expect a lively showcase of Filipino heritage through authentic cuisine, traditional and contemporary performances, cultural exhibits, music, family-friendly activities, and opportunities to connect with Memphisโ vibrant Filipino community. Whether you have Filipino roots or are simply curious to learn more about one of the worldโs most dynamic cultures, the event offers a welcoming atmosphere for all ages.
According to FILAMemphis president Roy Alinsub, the festivalโs mission extends beyond entertainment. โFirst-time attendees can expect a vibrant celebration of Filipino culture, full of the color, vibrancy, energy, and hospitality that Filipino people are known for. They will experience live cultural performances, warm community spirit, and delicious Filipino food. We want all guests, Filipino or not, to feel welcome and experience such a rich heritage.โ
That spirit of inclusivity has helped the event grow year after year, attracting visitors from across the Mid-South who come to experience everything from folk dances and live music to cultural demonstrations and beloved Filipino dishes โ like tasty lumpia, lechon, halo-halo, and others. Itโs an opportunity to not only celebrate traditions but also to build connections across communities.
Held at Agricenter International, the festival provides plenty of space for a full day of exploration, entertainment, and discovery. Come hungry, bring the family, and prepare to spend the day immersed in a celebration that highlights the richness of Filipino culture while reflecting the diverse fabric of Memphis itself.
