Memphis Police Department (MPD) officials released security camera images of the suspects in Wednesdayโ€™s fatal shooting of Memphis rapper Young Dolph (Adolph Thornton Jr.)

Thornton was shot Wednesday inside Makedaโ€™s Homemade Butter Cookies on Airways just after noon. On the ascent, MPD said an โ€œunresponsive maleโ€ was lying on the floor with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene and was later identified as Thornton.

โ€œInvestigators obtained video surveillance which shows two suspects exit a white two-door Mercedes Benz armed with guns,โ€ read a statement from MPD Thursday. โ€œThe suspects approached the victim while he was inside the business and shot the victim several times. The suspects then fled the scene.

โ€œNo arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.โ€
