Last week, the Memphis Redbirds clinched their spot in the playoffs. They’ll be hitting the road to take on the Isotopes in Albuquerque and then return to Memphis for game 3 of the series on Friday, September 11th.
Hungry Memphis talked to Steve McAdory. As concessions manager for the Redbirds organization, McAdory is in charge of keeping fans happy … as far as their stomachs go.
What’s your favorite part of the job?
My favorite part of the job is walking into the ballpark. I work in a baseball stadium! How great is that? Trees, grass, the excitement of the crowd — it’s all part of it. I love being at the center of the fan experience, being able in some small way to help every fan that walks through the gates to have the best possible time.
