The one-and-only National Metal Museum is hosting a likewise unique exhibition of jewelry from Memphis artist and MCA graduate, Thomasin Durgin, who spent all of last year crafting one ring per day. Located alongside the museumโ€™s permanent collection in the grand library building, Durginโ€™s thoughtful pieces can be infinitely wearable and lovely, or highly conceptual comments on the world around us. She is also a regular vendor for the museumโ€™s gift shop. Thomasin Durgin: Ring-A-Day is on display at the Metal Museum until Dec. 1, 2011. Visit the artistโ€™s website here.
