Bass Pro's Pyramid Designs

Posted by on Thu, Nov 18, 2010 at 11:16 AM

To go along with this week's Flyer cover story, "The World's Biggest Man Cave?" here are some additional artist's renderings of what the inside and outside of The Pyramid will look like in two years when Bass Pro opens as the city's prize tenant.

This rendering shows the interior of The Pyramid on the mezzanine level. Features include a cypress swamp with a system of walkways through and around it, boat sales, a snake pit, gator pond, arcade, underwater viewing, fire pit, and alligator gar pond.

This rendering shows Bass Pro Boulevard, the main entrance from the south, with Bass Pro-themed art, signs, and landscaping. The existing Tennessee Visitors Center is on the right side of the rendering next to the Mud Island monorail.
