Recommended Dish Gibson's Pumpkin Spice Donut

I happened upon the following tweet from @pricetedwards last week:
"If you are in Memphis, you must get the pumpkin donut from Gibson's. Best piece of fried dough that I have ever had."
I do not know Mr. Edwards, but he gives good advice when it comes to donuts.
The pumpkin spice donuts are sold seasonally. They hit the case last week and will be sold through Christmas.
The donuts come either iced or glazed. Joyce, who works behind the counter, suggested the glazed. That was one fine donut and so cute with its orange glaze.

Personally, I think the glazed are far superior. Actually, empirically, the glazed are far superior.
