St. Mary's Episcopal School is holding a fund-raiser book sale Friday and Saturday.
Among the impressive array of contemporary fiction, non-fiction, kids books, movie DVDs, etc. are cookbooks.

You'll find them in a bookshelf near the entry door. And while the selection isn't particularly large, there are the go-to tomes Joy of Cooking and Better Homes and Gardens Cookbook.
Nostalgia-listas will have plenty to choose from — Crockery Cooking from 1978, for one. There's also The Fannie Farmer Baking Book and the intriguing Book Lover's Cookbook, which takes its recipe cues from literature.
I spotted an interesting-looking vegetarian cookbook too. But, back off, that one's mine.
The books are $3 and under, and the sale runs Friday from noon to 7 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
