CA Gets New Ad Director

The Commercial Appeal is getting a new vice president of sales. Rob Jiranek, publisher of C-Ville Weekly in Charlottesville, Virginia, will join the Commercial Appeal as vice president of sales and strategic planning.

“The Commercial Appeal is aggressively reinventing how it delivers value to readers and advertisers, and I’m excited to join their team and work to modernize our business in these adventurous times,” said Jiranek. He will report to CA president and Publisher Joe Pepe, with whom Jiranek previously worked at Howard Publications.
