Memphis Manatee Lives! In Congress, At Least

Posted by John Branston on Wed, Mar 21, 2007 at 4:00 AM

In his testimony on global warming before Congress today, former Vice President Al Gore cited the Memphis manatee as evidence to support his contention that the earth is indeed heating up.

"Manatees live in South Florida," said Gore. "One of 'em showed up off Memphis this summer. Yep. First time ever. You ever seen a manatee in Memphis? No. It got too hot in southern Florida. I'm not making this up."

Neither are we. At least, our l'il lost manatee died for a reason.

Does anyone want to remind Al (I Invented Global Warming) Gore that the damned manatee froze to death??? Good grief...I moved up the river from Mississippi 40 years ago and I still haven't found my way back home. Was it global warming that made me do it?? Maybe when hell freezes over my wife will let me go back. Will that be proof that global warming has finally ended and that another ice age is coming?

He did NOT freeze to death. He was murdered because he knew too much about the Joseph Lee/Ed Ford/MLGW situation.
