Comrade VanWyngarden, your writing includes a fallacy because you exclude relevant information. The law doesn't just give you the chance to protect yourself and others while crossing a "street and the parking lot" Rather it gives good citizens the chance to protect themselves from the moment they get in the car for their morning commute, until they get home at night, and all points in between.
What is the unemployment rate for liberal "journalists" such as yourself? Could it be so high because you are moving society away from citizens who think and read and thus making yourself obsolescent?

Al Gore preaches little energy use to save the earth. How much energy does it take to heat and cool his large mansion? Does he travel on regular airlines (which use a tremendous amount of energy), or does he travel on private jets (which use an off the scale amount of energy)? Is Al Gore a hypocrite? Not likely we'll get a true answer from his liberal comrades at the Commercial Appeal or Memphis Flyer.

In Carol's campaign pictures at the Shelby County courthouse with her in a red dress, she displays her normal chest. In later photos she has nice substantial breasts. I'm not complaining; just wondering did she get enhanced in the middle of a political campaign? She's talented but regularly makes bad decisions, so it wouldn't be a surprise.

Mr. Baker says Democrat candidate Richardson is hindered by her white skin, in an area where the majority of voters have black skin. Hence he’s saying black skinned Democrats are racists.
He also says Democrat candidate Richardson is a leader towards homosexuals adopting children, and legalization of a drug. Very many Shelby County black Democrats are faithful Christians, and they will not support her agenda.
We will all be better off, if voters simply choose their candidate not based on skin color, but rather the one that most closely matches their values.

Paul Garner, instead of hanging with your comrades in Memphis, go and hang with your Comrades in the former USSR, China, Vietnam, and Cuba. Perhaps the millions of humans who were butchered or starved to death by Comrades in those countries in the recent past and the horrible conditions there today might open your eyes to not trying to import their evil here.
