Come celebrate Mardi Gras, February 24th, on Beale Street at the Second Annual Mardi Gras Memphis Shopping Kart Krewe Parade and Pub Crawl. There will be drink specials from Coors Light, a crawfish boil, bobbing for crawfish, and, of course, the Shopping Kart Krewe Parade. Beale Street venues will decorate shopping carts for the parade and will nominate a contestant for “Queen of Beale.” Silky O’Sullivan will be the head of the Mardi Gras parade this year. Festivities begin around dusk.
