Memphis Finance Director Roland McElrath gave members of the City Council good news Tuesday: 2007 revenues are expecting to exceed expenditures by over $23 million. Thatยs an almost $13 million improvement from the cityยs last forecast, a change due to local taxes, state taxes, and transfers from MLGW outperforming early estimates.
