In early September, the Neptune Theater 53-hour Film Challenge gave Memphis filmmakers a chance to flex their muscles. All filmmaking teams were given less than three days to go from concept to finished short film. One of those teams made a music video for Tom Foolery, aka Harold Scruggs. The video for the easygoing “Out On The Lake” brings some shoreside drama, with a visit from the Maywood Lake Monster (James Sentenn), a siren (Olivia Scruggs) and Judy LaGrue (Daniel Young). The iPhone-shot video was edited by Macy Generes. Beware of monsters!
