Anyone familiar with Young Dolph's music catalog knows he’s a South Memphis enthusiast. Since dropping his debut effort back in 2008, he’s proclaimed his love for the area and how it's impacted him.

In an interview with VladTV, Dolph reflected on growing up in Castalia, a South Memphis neighborhood he dedicated a track to on his Welcome to Dolph World mixtape.

Dolph also talked about his grandmother motivating him to finish high school, deciding to hustle as a teen, what inspired him to create music, and the respect he receives from Memphis rap vets.
