From the Nile to the Mississippi

Posted By on Wed, Feb 23, 2011 at 1:24 PM

This Friday, February 25, from 6 to 9 p.m. Memphis College of Art is hosting a panel discussion and Q&A session on the recent revolutionary activity in Egypt. "From Cairo to Memphis: A public discussion of the recent uprisings in the Middle East" will take place in the Callicott Auditorium. The panel will include speakers from Egypt via Skype, professors, and students, and the event will operate as a sort of "teach-in," incorporating a variety of perspectives about the revolution in Egypt and its implications and historical context. All interested community members are encouraged to attend.
