Memphis Shut Out in Monopoly

Posted By on Tue, Apr 25, 2006 at 4:00 AM

No, it's not another Redbirds defeat. It seems Hasbro is updating its hallowed Monopoly game with a more modern “Here and Now” edition. Gamers can choose what U.S. landmarks will be in the new version by going here before May 12th.

But here's rub: Memphis is apparently not on Rich Uncle Pennybags’ radar. Nashville made the list of cities to vote on, as did Atlanta and New Orleans. But the Bluff City was snubbed. Oh well, Monopoly is so … 19th century. We prefer the subtle intrique of CLUE.
