A Nod for Wink

From Overton Square to Hollywood Boulevard: Former Memphis television star Wink Martindale is getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Wink’s star will be placed between Suzanne Sommers and Tom Hanks. The “installation,” as they call it, is June 2nd.

Martindale hosted a program called Dance Party in the 1950s and 1960s and briefly owned a restaurant in Overton Square.
