Hate that I'm going to miss this: Body & Soul A Tribute to Sarah Vaughan. Jamille "Jam" Hunter is taking a shot at portraying the dynamic, often mercurial jazz diva whose body of work includes, "I've Got a Crush on You," "Body & Soul," "Misty," "Tenderly," "Lullabye of Birdland," and "Whatever Lola Wants."

In 1942 Vaughn got her big break opening act for Ella Fitzgerald at Harlem's Apollo Theatre. She was only 18. The concert at the Hattiloo finds Hunter working with a three-piece band and some special guests.

Saturday Jun 18, 2011 7:00 PM. Tickets are $15.00 At The Hattiloo Theatre
