Re: “Is Meddlesome's 201 Hoplar in Bad Taste?

Hey BP45, haven't you heard? Herpes sores are badges of honor today, very hip.

And there you have it. Point, set, match. Pidgeonholing couldn't be prouder.

Re: “"M" Bridge May Get New Lights Soon

Totally awesome. I just marvel every time I drive by the Harahan Bridge at night. What an incredible pair of front porch lights for our city.

Re: “Beer With Me

Lumping Budweiser in with the Nasty Lights, Milwaukee's Best, Schaeffer's and Keystones of the world is insulting. While Budweiser is not a craft level, it's still tiers above those you mentioned and is probably far and away the best mass produced beer in the US. America!

Re: “Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium to Implement New Bag Policy

Of course the real way to speed entry is for the Liberty Bowl to hire competent gate people. The past few years they've been a mixture of extremes from Barney Fife to the security screeners from the movie 'Airplane'. At times I thought I had to be on the old MTV show 'Boiling Point'. "Pull up your shirt, take off your hat, roll down your socks, drop and give me 20". Yeah, I feel considerably safer with these 'professionals'. The large HD flatscreen and recliner look better every season.

As a society we've become masters of debating the useless and arcane.
