Re: “Letter from the Editor

Yeah, the Democrats are just as capable of screwing up the country as the Republicans. They proved that for half a century before the republicans gained control and proved to be their identical twins. The "face of conservatism is only the republicrat shills Hannity, Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Coulter, Joe the Plumber, etc., because the democrats and the media who whores for them have produced that face. Of those, Coulter is perhaps a conservative to a large degree, maybe Joe is, but he may just be a simple guy who wants to keep his own hard earned and not be screwed out of it by socialists. The rest are just republicrat shills with no more respect for the constitution than they sleaze they rightfully attack on their shows. conservative movement is not "wobbling like a punch-drunk boxer". It's simply absent from the polls. The republicans abandoned any pretense of conservatism after the republicans turned out to be democrats. Obama, a totally inexperienced, leftist drone with no qualifications for anything, no accomplishments other than being born black, a guy who debates almost as well as he bowls, couldn't have done nearly as well as Walter Mondale against a semi intelligent and half qualified conservative. But against John McCain? What possible reason would any decent freedom loving human being have for wasting his time standing in line to vote given that choice? The problem is that the republicrats have infected the system to the point that most Americans believe it's a two party system. The twin socialist parties of greed and corruption have rigged the election so no decent candidate can even get invited to the debates. And the media participates in the scam. They say junkies don't seek help until they hit rock bottom. The USA has become addicted to socialist scams and now we see both parties raiding the treasury and both parties robbing out great grandchildren of their freedom, making us dependent on the chicom bankers, ignoring an ongoing invasion from Mexico, intentionally destroying our nation, just to keep the scams going a little longer. Obama is an empty suit, another shill like the other republicrats. If we are to survive as a nation, which is not likely, it will because the people hit rock bottom and seek help. Conservatism is the cure. The last conservative president we had was Coolidge.

Re: “Letters to the Editor

Dream on Ron Lowe. Sober people know better than to think you can every get everyone in the world stoned enough to play your "peace" game. "War is unthinkable in a society of people who have discovered the connectedness of all humanity." Yeah, and food is unthinkable in a society where everyone lives on love! Let's life in the real world, shall we? There are bad people who listen to your poetry and then slaughter you and your family, either for a few bucks to buy drugs or because you don't practice their superstition.

Re: “Letters to the Editor

Richard DeLisi's comments display an ignorance of the constitution and the history leading up to the current financial crisis. Giving away billions to bums on the street will only buy more booze. You want $700 billion bailout to liquor distillers? There is no constitutional authority for the federal government to be involved at all in any socialist health care scam, or education, or housing, or even "people in need". As for who caused this mess, we could go back to FDR, the creation of the federal reserve, and various other socialist scams, but specifically we need only go back to Carter who insisted on forcing these evil bankers to give loans to people who can't afford them under the "Communitu Reinvestment Act". It was under Clinton that Housing and Urban Development secretary Andrew Cuomo changed the rules to allow kickbacks to politicians from Fannie and Freddie. Franklin Raines, also under Clinton, raided it stuffing $90 million into his pocket too. Deputy Attorneys General Jamie S. Gorelick (under Clinton) screwed us all for $11 billion, $26.4 million into her own purse. Again, under Clinton, Tim Howard, who was the Chief Financial Officer of Fannie Mae, cooked the books to cover it all up for his benefit. Jim Johnson ran Fannie Mae from 1991 to 1998 and turned it into a funding and orginization scam for crooked lobbyists and crooked politicians. He make over $20 million in 1998 doing that to us all. Today, most of those are working in Obama's campaign and staff. And McCain want's Cuomo to run the SEC! All of those but McCain happen to be democrats, but the republicans have proven just as bad, just as crooked. But they didn't have control except for a few years and well after it all was well on it's way to collapse. They could have fixed it,and to McCain's credit, he actually warned of it and suggested that it needed fixing. But he was more interested in assisting mexican criminals in invading the US and helping Kennedy squelch free speech. We need change alright. But we wont get that from the republicrats. William R. Re: “It's Easy Being Green

Regarding the "Green Issue" and the piece on "Two Chicks and a Broom"... Shouldn't they have two brooms? It seems to be that one could conserve GREEN backs by hiring only the chick with the broom. This seems so typicaly wasteful of liberal "green" thinking. W have to spend twice as much, and one doing the work has to share her earnings with one who is not willing or prepared to be productive. Re: “The Rant

Anyone familiar with our system should know that those we elect are not obligated to us but to the constitution as their oaths clearly state. But I wouldn't expect that or any other fact to be recognized by a parrot still reciting the Clinton apologetics after so many years. Yes, all the infamous republicrats in Washington seem to be crooks and liars. The Bushs and the Clintons are cut from the same cloth. But Clinton didn't lie to prevent a war with Hillary. She already knew he was a skirt chasing whore monger and couldn't have been surprised at all by that. He lied to fix a trial in which he was the defendant. That is a crime. Clinton was and in a crook. Live with it. Now lets get onto the business of electing the next crook of whichever party. William R. James

Re: “A Reassuring Choice

John McCain dancing with Joe Biden's wife isn't surprising. McCain's been dancing with Biden and all the other crooked lying socialists for the duration of his career, and that is the problem. William R. James

Re: “Letters to the Editor

Just maybe the "republicans" (including the democrats in control) allowed the solar tax credits to lapse becuase solar panels are pretty useless for keeping your SUV running. You can whine and moan all day about "big oil" and how evel republicans like Bush and Cheney (and Al Gore who is more heavily invested in "Big Oil" than either of them) but you wont solve any problem by whining and patting yourself on the back for wasting a few thousand dollars on solar panels to produce energy that you could have gotten for half the price by cutting down a tree. If you want to waste your money and feel good for doing useless things, then by all means, 'go green' and ignore the laughter. But get out of the way of those trying to do real things to produce more and cheaper energy.
