Re: “Kroger's New Bag: "Be More Visible, Be More Accessible"

Krogers is a grocery store folks. The "experience" of a grocery is purchasing food. Beyond that I am not seeking a lot of quality interaction. Been shopping at krogers since a teen. Have always liked them. Was in St. Louis when Kroger left the market in 86 in a union busting exercise ad missed them. In Iowa I became addicted to Hy-Vee but they only serve Iowa and South Dakota. In Georgia, at least metro Atlanta, you have a choice of Publix and Krogers for you full service shopping. They are generally next to each other. For best price and most variety on staple items Krogers is the place, for less variety ad high pricing, though frequently better quality, there is Publix. For the boutique experience there is Whole Foods and Trader Joes for the occasional shopping "experience" much to expensive and lacking in staples for weekly visits. When in Walmart for some item can also purchase there, products are comparable to krogers and often more expensive, poor product, medicre meat but surprisingly good bakery.
