Re: “Letter From the Editor

@"Nobody": College Football, Pro Football, Pro Baseball, Beaches, Mountains, Pristine recreational lakes, boating, Asthetic buildings and amazing Architecture, low crime, air that doesn't smell like sewage, not commonly seeing homeless people urinating in public, not having a local news program where the majority is about crime, not having someone run for City Council that thinks he's from another planet, not having security in every shopping mall / grocery store parking lot, not having gates / barbed wire fence around every business....Should I go on?

Re: “Letter From the Editor

This is hilarious! Most of the people commenting on this issue have NEVER lived anywhere else. You can't qualify the "burbs" as somewhere else. I came to Memphis after having lived all over the country. I came open minded. I left. Memphis is a toilet bowl that needs to be flushed. If you like to eat and get drunk, listen to music, and follow a mediocre NBA team then Memphis is for you. You people should get out of your bubble and check out other cities like Asheville, N.C.; Tampa, Fl.; Austin, Tx.; Denver, Co. and New Haven, Ct. just to name a few. Even better, go up to Nashville, look at how they have done their urban revitalization and streetscaping. No Memphis, you're far from the top......*FLUSH*
