I will never forget the day that I got my college acceptance letter. I had gone home after school and checked the mail, hoping that it was there. When I opened it and saw the response, I didn't even tell my parents. I jumped back into my car and drove as quickly as possible back up to school. I ran inside like a maniac and fortunately found Mr. Frey still there in his office. I many times have reflected on the mental image of jumping up and down in the halls of Hutchison sandwiched between Mr. and Mrs. Frey. I realize he was well known as an actor as much as a teacher, but I truly believe he was just as excited as I. I feel certain that many of us experienced that same level of enthusiasm from this man as we had our various victories over the years.

RIP Mr. Frey. You brought a great enthusiasm to this world that I hope we can all carry forward in your honor.
