Re: “Memphis Beer Beat: Dueling IPA's

Dave-- Here's a pretty decent article on shipping beer:…

From what I've experienced, most retailers (not breweries or distributers) will ship beer to consumers in TN. A signature of an adult (21 yrs and up) is required upon delivery-- totally reasonable. As per shipping costs, I think I paid somewhere around $15 for a box containing two four packs, so that's about 50 cents/ bottle. Not too bad, if you ask me. And the more you order, the cheaper it'll be per bottle.

There are plenty of other stores that'll ship as well. Here's a list of stores and their shipping policies:

Some of the info appears to be out of date, so you may want to double-check on stores you're interested in. It should also be said that I'm not 100% positive this is legal, but the stores are willing, and I've had no problems to date, so, presumably, it's alright. But, you know, order and drink awesome beer at your own risk.

Memphismini-- You know, it's been a while since I've tried Boscos' Bombay IPA that I'd feel uncomfortable comparing the two. I'll get back to you on that.

MNMatt-- I'd absolutely love to...just need to get my hands on some. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: “Memphis Beer Beat: Winter Seasonals, American Edition

I believe Magic Hat is sold at Whole Foods and probably Raffe's. The Double Bastard was bought at Joe's, but you should be able to find it at other liquor stores, too (like Buster's).
