Re: “Acre

Hahahahaha!!! Both of you are totally CORRECT! However, I would add the term "Pseudo" in front. Amateur kitchens and home kitchens breed critique of Professionals just like an "Arm Chair Quarterback" does. I don't take food that seriously. I'm fine just eating Meatloaf from Cracker Barrel, as I have kids too, that crunch my budget. I just can't stand extreme criticalness of fine dining places that try to bring a little more than middle of the road chains to a town that complains and whines about no place that's good to eat. Grates on my nerves. When people have it, they complain. When they don't have it, they complain............It is EXHAUSTING, Indeed.............

Re: “Acre

Point being, M. Awesomeburg, was that Jeff came out of the gate critcizing on price without even having eaten there. No one says that we should eat there everyday. Just base it on the merits of the food, ingredients, labor (which is NOT cheap considering the skills), etc. ONLY: if you have experienced it to judge it. To come right out the gates and say - "That's some lunch - $32" is highly unfair without having even experienced it.

Re: “Acre

Some people can be critical of anything. I've heard the best one last week. "Backyard Burgers are expensive at $4.39/burger." I guess Acre should charge $3.00 for a hamburger and then it wouldn't be expensive? I know what food costs are. Ground beef is around $4.50/lb. these days at Kroger. Restaurants, however, should give their food away. If you have to complain about prices, stay home and cook yourself. Obviously, it would be better at your house anyway. I'd like to ask what Jeff does for a living. I'll ask him to give his service away to me too. Everyone is a critic these days and everyone is a chef because Food Network has shown America how to cook. Golfing looks easy too by Tiger Woods on tv................until you have to play in the tournament.
