Re: “Tennessee Should Keep a Nonpartisan Supreme Court

Unless you are incredibly uninformed or simply do not care, there are 4 U.S. Supreme Court Justices who rule in almost every case that comes before their court in a way that reflects the beliefs and practices of those on the political left.

Yet when Ramsey says this, “It is not surprising that a group of Nashville lawyers with a vested interest in protecting a liberal Supreme Court are getting engaged in this process,” we must believe that here in TN politics do not come into our courts, our judges are not partisan, and our judges are fair and impartial? If you do not know also that a vast majority of lawyers in our country reflect the beliefs and practices of those on the political left, you again are incredibly uninformed or simply do not care.

If former judge Conner really believes “judicial elections should not be Democrat and Republican,” then why doesn't he and his Nashville lawyers push to have all judicial elections held without any party affiliation? This would be rejected in a heartbeat because those on the political left know what they are getting when a judge runs on the Democratic Party ticket!
