Re: “Group to Talk Next Steps for Removing City's Confederate Statues

Mullins, The North instituted the Jim Crow law in the South which was very much
the same as the one in the North. The blacks did not want to integrate ever and they have not integrated. They want the power and the money. Your other statement made no sense to me. Leave the Statues alone, they don't kill, they don't speak, you don't have to look at them. This is our heritage and we were the South's Cotton Town on the Mississippi before and after the War. The North invaded and captured Memphis city early on, but the people never lost their spirit. You and this group of know nothings are out to defame and disgrace Gen. Forrest and President Davis, and you may hold sway in Memphis now maybe that all the good people have left because of your kind, and in that case Memphis will be another crime ridden NOLA and Chicago, perhaps even a slum Detroit. If so, it will be your fault and not the statues.

Re: “Confederate Heritage Groups Vow to Fight Park Name Changes

First to the Lady Jane: get a life. Nazi? That was Lincoln my dear. Read the latest book on Lincoln the Marxist please. Arlington pop open your mind you are so wrong about all of it Wirtz even allowed union prisoners to go to Washington and plead for them to take the union prisoners and they returned to Andersonville. The hanging of Wirtz was a travesty of Military Justice as was Col. Beall who was hung in NYC. There was a lot of that.......Lincoln's War on Civilians a new book out will open your eyes. As to slavery as the cause of the war, well, you guys are pitiful, the negroes have been a political football since forever. Read Francis Springer's WAR FOR WHAT? And by the way The Confederate States became a colony of the greedy North just what they were fighting against; and yes, the soldiers went home back to their Southern States only to be called up when Washington needed them in WW 1 and WW 2 for cannon fodder in their wars where the rich got richer. You are now seeing the end of what they started in 1861. By the time we are flooded with immigrants it will be the final end.

Re: “Council Changes Names of Forrest Park, Confederate Park, and Jefferson Davis Park

Thanks to the union, there were piles of dead black slaves freed by the union. They were piled up high on a small island in the Mississippi with other ex-slaves living on top of them. Some sympathetic yankee wrote to Lincoln begging for help for them and described the horrible situation the Africans were in. They were dying left and right every day. (documented, and you can find it if you really want to.)

Re: “Council Changes Names of Forrest Park, Confederate Park, and Jefferson Davis Park

Anytime the uninformed/misinformed compare Hitler, Germany etc to the Confederate States of America they show their full blown ignorance. Hitler was a huge fan of Lincoln and patterned his war on civilians with that of Lincoln. The South never in any way did anything to compare with Hitler/Germany, but the NORTH did! Even today the hatemongers, mean, cruel people are from yankeeland and they will take your money in a minute and spend it as they will. We are all their slaves now. If the USA had stayed out of WWII Hitler/Lincoln would have won! If England had backed the South we could have halted the invasion and takeover. A backroom deal by the industrialist NE Elites and England halted their support for the South; except for some ships and ammo we purchased from them against the yankee blockade. Memphis was one of those cities on the river used to keep medicine and needed supplies from civilians and the Confederate Army; the entire people in the South, SE and SW suffered deprivation, black and white.
