Re: “...and the Backstory (Cohen, Cybill Shepherd, and a Presidential Intercession)

It was unfortunate that some of the positive energy at this event wasn't directed at Bill Morrison. Here is someone with a grassroots campaign who has been unable to get his opponent to debate him. He is running for the 7th District against Marsha Blackburn who is just another rubber stamp Bush crony. But back to the issue at hand. The Fords have taught us who the Real Democrats are. But John, that doesn't mean we're voting for Corker. We must take control of the Senate for now and we can straighten Jr. out later if he is elected. He has made two mistakes just this week. He opened his mouth and criticized a decorated Viet Nam war hero when he should have kept his mouth shut. Then the Steve Cohen snub. The Ford family owes Democrats a lot but you would never know by their recent acts. At the rate they're going Independents and Moderate Republicans may be their only source of support in a few years.

Re: “Wesley Clark, Roz Kurita Back Bill Morrison in 7th District

We need the leadership and representation that Bill Morrison offers. He will be responsive to not just wealthy consituents but to all constituents. He answers hard questions on the campaign trail and has asked his opponent to debate him. Marsha Blackburn has avoided that platform and is following the strategy of staying out of sight this campaign except for a few TV commercials. That kind of avoidance behavior is suspect, begging such questions as what does she fear or what is she hiding? Bill Morrison believes in transparent government just as the Constitution intended.
