How can you continue to support something that even the President will be forced to admit is a failure. Oh...Marsha, Marsha, Marsha!!!!

Re: “It's Official: Harold Ford Jr. is the DLC's New Chair

Well, as Glen Ford reports at Black Agenda Report,( most progressives would rather have him Chairing the DLC (where his incompetence will be nationally displayed)rather than stinking up the Senate Chambers with his Joe Lieberman impersonation.

Re: “BARNSTORMING: Running on Empty

This is a good article on the reasons why Harold Ford may lose a race he was essentially poised to win. The Senate is going to be in enough bad shape with the likes of Joe Lieberman lurking in the wings, waiting to extract revenge or make Dems kiss his ring for supporting the Democratic candidate for Senate from Connecticut, Ned Lamont. Everything Junior told fellow Democrats to kiss his horses' patoot on, is coming back to bite him in the behind in a big way. And don't think that those he used to run with and now have been slung under the bus, are going to forget it. Yes, Democrats want another African-American Senator in their midst. But they want one they can count on to uphold the Caucus, and as Steve Gilliard said, Junior will be conservative when it's beneficial, and he will be liberal when it's beneficial to be liberal. I want a politician who sticks to their principle and not develop their principles on the Fly.
