On the Scene at the City Hall Farmers Market

In celebration of Earth Day today, Mayor A C Wharton's office and the Memphis
Farmers Market are holding a special mini-market outside City Hall from 10
a.m.-2 p.m.


Vendors include Groovy Foods, Neola Farms, McCarter Coffee, Delta Pecan
Orchard, and several stands featuring fresh greens and hydroponic tomatoes.


Batesville, Arkansas-based Micmak Farms offers vibrant early season
hydroponic tomatoes ranging from $3 to $4 per tray.


Grow Memphis boasts an assortment of fresh greens, ranging from butter
lettuce and red leaf romaine to Red Russian kale and curly mustard greens.
