Re: “"No Room for Dispair" : The CA Prints Big Typos in Big Type

Sorry Barf. Reading tiny type on my phone I didn't. But, as noted, I don't note the common stuff or grammar/grammer police social/comment people. Heck, I sweat how real people really type and speak far less than the average online curmudgeon.

Re: “"No Room for Dispair" : The CA Prints Big Typos in Big Type

@Barf My editor & publisher, maybe? But, fact is I don't really police typos unless they are egregious, hilarious, or somehow indicative of something larger. Which, given recent history, a typo that any basic spell check would underline in type that large is probably indicative of something. But since you asked a silly, that would be the silly answer.

Re: “Making Memphis History

I'm just glad we can agree it was a racist gesture paying homage to racists making it a racist statement in a public park. That's a huge step in the right direction.

What sort of gesture was erecting and protecting them?

Re: “Art of the Deal: What Happened at MCA?

Near as I can tell there's some nonsense deficit at play in many (even serious) conversations about enrollment. I'm hoping to get around to posting about that before this issue is off shelves. Multitasking! But the idea of "getting enrollment up" is maybe the wrong perspective and a self-creating problem when so many dire enrollment crisis moments can be directly related to something as basic as rising and falling birthrates. For communities its important to foster opportunities for education, vocational training, etc, but for colleges -- particularly small, specialty colleges -- the goal of stabilizing and growing enrollment has to be married to realistic scale and adaptability.
